Coolpad Cool 3 budget phone is now official

Coolpad has officially launched its latest budget smartphone in India called Cool 3. It has rear facing fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock as well.
The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie OS out of the box. It has gloss back with colored edges. It has dual SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE in India. There is a 3000 mAh battery which powers the hardware.
The Coolpad Cool 3 specs include 5.71-inch multi-touch display with 1520 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio and boasts and impressive 90% screen-to-body ratio.
Under the hood is a 1.3GHz octa-core Unisoc processor which is paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage space. MicroSD card support is also present for further expansion up to 128GB.
The Coolpad Cool 3 features in 5MP front facing camera for selfies and video calling. At the back side is 8MP + 0.3MP dual camera setup with LED Flash. Connectivity options like Wi-FI 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, GPS/GLONASS and 3.5mm Audio Jack are supported.
The Coolpad Cool 3 price in India is Rs. 5999 (US$ 84 approx.) and comes in Ocean Indigo, Midnight Blue, Teal Green and Ruby Black colors. The smartphone will be available via online and offline channels.
UPDATE: Coolpad Cool 3 with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM has been unveiled for Rs. 7999. It will be available exclusively via offline stores in India.
