Coolpad has rather been silently but this has changed as company has launched Cool Play 7 smartphone in China.  The handset is exclusive to Chinese currently but is expected to launch in other markets as well.

Coolpad Cool Play 7 Specifications

The smartphone measures 151 x 73.4 x 8.8 mm and weighs 199 grams. It has 5.85-inch 2.5D curved glass multi-touch display with 1512 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution, 286ppi pixel density and 19:9 aspect ratio. There is as notch at the front.
The phone features in octa-core (1.5GHz A53 x 4 + 1GHz A53 x 4) MediaTek MT6750 processor with Mali-T860 GPU. It has 4GB RAM and comes in 32GB / 64GB storage options. It also allows further storage expansion using MicroSD card.
The Coolpad Cool Play 7 specs include 13MP + 13MP dual rear cameras with F/2.2 Aperture and LED Flash. At he front side is an 8MP selfie camera with F/2.2 Aperture.
The handset packs in Hybrid Dual SIM Slots (Nano + Nano / MicroSD) and supports 4G VoLTE. It runs on unknown Andorid OS with CoolUI on top. The hardware is juiced up by 2800 mAh Li-Po battery (non removable).
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0 LE, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio jack.

Coolpad Cool Play 7 Price

The Cool Play 7 Price starts at 799 Yuan (US$ 117 approx.) for 32GB storage variant and goes up to 899 Yuan (US$ 132 approx.) for 64GB storage model. The handset comes in Black, White and Blue colors and will up for sale in China from August 2nd.
