Dell has lunched S2417DG 24-inch Gaming monitor. It is slightly improved version of its 27-inch gaming monitor that was introduced last year.
This 24-inch gaming monitor has measurements of 14.33 x 21.28 x 7.09 inches (height x width x depth with stand) and weighs about 3.78 kg (panel only) (packaging weight 8.23kg). It has 23.8 inch diagonal display with 20.74 x 11.67 inches display area with 7.35mm narrow bezels.
The Dell S2417DG features in a TN Panel with Anti-glare screen coating (3H hardness). The screen gives 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution at 165 Hz (with overclock). It has 160 / 170 degree viewing angles. The display produces 82% (CIE1976) / 72% (CIE1931) colour gamut, 123ppi, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 16:9 aspect ratio and 350 cd/m² brightness. For smooth performance it has just 1ms response time.
In terms of connectivity, this 24-inch gaming monitor for Dell comes with 1 x DP (V1.2), 1 x HDMI (V1.4), 1 x USB 3.0 (upstream), 2 x USB 3.0 (side), 2 x USB 3.0 (bottom) and 1 x Audio line out jack (bottom). The display is flicker free and supports G-SYNC as well. The monitor operates at maximum of 70W power and can operate in 0 to 40 degrees of temperature. It can tilt, swivel and pivot easily.
