Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 convertible laptop with InfinityEdge bezel display goes official

Dell has finally introduced its its latest XPS 13 2-in-1 convertible laptop. It can be used in Laptop mode, Tablet Mode, Tent Mode and Stand Mode.
It is also claimed to be the ‘smallest 13-inch 2-in-1 device’ on the planet. According to Dell, it is 15% smaller that HP Spectre 360, 17% smaller than Lenovo Yoga 900 / 910 and about 16% smaller than Surface Book.
The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 features 13-inch InfinityEdge Bezel display with 3200 x 1800 pixels UltraSharp QHD+ resolution. It’s IPS panel with anti-reflective coating that delivers 400nits brightness and 170-degree viewing angles.
The device is powered by Intel Kabylake processors iwth option of 3.6GHz Core i7-7Y75 or 3.2GHz Core i5-7Y54. It can be configured with 4GB / 8GB / 16GB RAM and allows storage from 128GB / 256GB / 512GB / 1TB SSD.
Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 image -01It has full-size backlit keyboard and comes with HD Webcam as well. Dell has also managed to include two USB Type-C prots, one Thunderbolt 3 port, Display Port, MicroSD card reader and Headphone jack. There is no USB-A ports, however company will give an adapter with every system that allows users to connect via external USB-A port.
The Dell XPS 13 wont support Windows Hello Face Recognition. It does have Fingerprint scanner though. It comes with 46WHr battery that offers about 15 hours of usage and / or 9 hours of netflix streaming.
The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 price starts US$ 999 and will be available from January 5th.
