Facebook Marketplace launched, allows buying and selling in local market

Facebook is not just limited to social networking. It has introduced all new marketplace where users can buy and sell goods in their local community.
Many of the Facebook users were already indulged in Buying and Selling products using groups. The figure has reached to 450 million users indulging in such activities. To help make more of these connections, Facebook has launched Marketplace, that helps users can buy and sell items with users.
To access Facebook Marketplace, Just tap on shop icon at the bottom of the Facebook App. Users are greeted with pictures of items listed for sale by people near you. You can also find something specific using search at the top (allows filtering results by location, category or price). It has built-in location tool that allows one to adjust region or switch to different city altogether.

When you find the desired item, tap on the photo so see additional details like more products from seller, product description, name / profile photo of seller etc. You can also save the item for quick access. If everything is Ok and want to buy? You can send the seller a direct message from Marketplace.
Listing a product for sale is equally easy. Just take a photo of your item (or add from camera roll), Enter product name, description, confirm your location, select category and post.
Facebook Marketplace is just a platform to find products, sell products or buy them. Company does not facilitate the payment or delivery of the items.
The Marketplace is now available in Four countries that include US, UK, Australia and New Zealand. It can be accessed by 18 years old users from Facebook App for iPhone and Androids. It will be available in desktop version as well in coming months. Other countries are soon to follow.
