Firefox Quantum Browser launched

Mozilla has introduced its new web browser called Firefox Quantum. Mozilla is claiming it to be two times faster than what Firefox was 6 months ago.
The Firefox Quantum browser not only brings new beautiful looking design but is also faster, thanks to its completely overhauled core engine and brand new technology.
It is equipped with Photon UI which is incredibly fast and smooth. Even opening multiple tabs has become smoother. Now, the Tab you are working on gets prioritized over all other.
In United States and Canada, Google will be the default search provider. If you are not a Google Search Engine fan, don’t worry. The Firefox Quantum features in 60 pre-installed Search providers across more than 90 different languages.
The Quantum ships with new CSS engine called Stylo. It takes advantage of today’s hardware with multiple cores yet consumes less power.
To bring Firefox Quantum to life, Employees and Volunteers from around the world worked in record time to create the best Firefox browser yet. If you talk in numbers, about 700 authors and 80 contributors around the globe contributed the code.
The Firefox Quantum browser is available on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS platforms.
