Samsung’s latest smartphone, the Galaxy Note7 is breaking records. According to report by KoreanHerald, company has received 200,000 pre-order in just 2 days (double of Galaxy S7). The smartphone is currently priced at KRW 988,900 (about $895) and will launch on August 19, 2016 there.
This is due to aggressive marketing strategies in the home country. Samsung is also offering deals there like free Gear Fit 2 (worth KRW 198,000 or $177), 50% discount on screen repair and KRW 100,000 gift card which can be used at Samsung Pay Mall.
Moreover, there is a word hinting that Samsung will release Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 powered Galaxy Note7 in Canada. It will be the second country after US to get SD820 variant. Galaxy Note7 availability there is slated for August 19 as well.
