Garmin MARQ Commander with GPS unveiled

Garmin has announced a luxury smartwatch called Garmin MARQ Commander. It comes with Dual Format GPS and Multi-GNSS support.

It has 1.2-inch always-on display with 240 x 240 pixels resolution. The screen is readable in sunlight and shows several smart notifications.

As you might expect from luxury smartwatch, it is made from premium materials. It has stealth matte design with domed sapphire lens, matte diamond like carbon-coated titanium bezels and tri-tone jacquard-weave strap.

It comes with Garmin pay and supports several apps and activities. It has music app and allows allow activity tracking and can check stress levels. Activity and fitness tracking features are a bonus.

The Garmin MARQ Commander measures 46 x 14.4 mm (Diameter x Thickness) and weighs about 87 grams. It has 32GB of built in storage space. Its dual-format GPS comes with built-in topographical maps. Its 10ATM rating brings water proofing.

The smartwatch has a dedicated stealth mode, which when activated stops storing and sharing GPS positions. It even disables wireless connectivity and communications.

The battery inside offers about 12 days of usage in smartwatch mode and up to 28 hours with GPS on. With GPS on you can get music up to 9 hours while the ultratrac mode offers usage up to 48 hours.
