Garmin Vivoactive 3 fitness smartwatch with GPS launched in India

Garmin has launched its latest multi-fitness smartwatch in India called Vivoactive 3. It has 5 ATM water resistant rating and comes with 15 pre-installed indoor/outdoor sports apps.
These apps include floor climbing, indoor rowing, yoga, cardio workouts, cardio training, cardio workouts, automatic rep counting, stair stepping, elliptical training and much more.
The smartwatch packs in a 1.2-inch full-color Garmin Chroma sunlight visible display with 240 x 240 pixels resolution. It has transflective memory-in-pixel and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top.
The device measures 43.4 x 43.4 x 11.7 mm and weighs 43 grams. It is compatible with most Android and iPhones. It has built-in GPS/GLONASS for tracking.
The battery inside is capable of lasting up to 7 days in smartwatch mode or about 11 hours in GPS mode.  There are array of sensors like Garmin Elevate wrist heart rate monitor, Barometric altimeter, accelerometer, thermometer and compass.
Garmin Vivoactive 3 photo -2The Garmin Vivoactive 3 features in step counter and a move bar which pops up to give sedentary remainders. The move bar automatically disappears after you walk for few minutes.
Apart from that, the smartwatch can also monitor sleep (type/quality), calories burned, distance traveled, floors climbed, intensity minutes etc.
The Garmin Vivoactive 3 price is set at Rs. 24,990 ($385 approx.) and comes in Slate Black, Black (Stainless) and White (Stainless) colors. It will be available at several e-commerce platforms (Amazon.in)  along with select Croma, Helios and Reliance Digital stores.
