Garmin has announced its latest fitness and sports activity tracking smartwatch called Vivoactive 3. It has heart rate sensor for continuous heart rate tracking.
The smartwatch features in a Garmin Chroma high resolution display with always on technology. The dial is also customizable with thousands of watch faces to download / choose (free). One can download it at ConnectIQ store along with several other apps.
It comes pre-loaded with 15 applications which are pertaining to GPS and sports.It has ability to track your GPS location. The Garmin Vivoactive 3 smartwatch is said to last up to 13 hoours on GPS mode while it should last you a week on smartwatch mode.
It has several activity tracking features like step counter, move bar (displays on device with periods of inactivity), Sleep monitor, Calories burned, Floors climbed, distance traveled etc. There are several preloaded Gym activity profiles and workouts.
The Garmin Vivoactivity 3 can also track several sport activities like Running, Golfing, Skiing, Snowboarding, XC skiing, Cycling, Biking, swimming etc.
