Garmin Vivosmart HR+ launched for US$ 219.99 – An activity tracker with GPS

Garmin has launched its latest Fitness Activity Tracker called the Vivosmart HR+. It has measurements of 25.3 x 10.7 mm and weighs just 31 Grams. It comes with built-in GPS and can accurately track time, distance and place of activity.
The VivoSmart HR+ is also a fitness tracking smartband that auto detect activities using Garmin Move IQ auto activity detection. It also includes Garmin Elevate wrist heart rate technology allows 24/7 heart rate monitoring. It has Garmin connect that allows its users to view map of their activity.
The device measures distance, steps take, calories burnt, floors climbed and intensity. The display is 5 ATM water rated and houses an always-on sunlight readable screen with 160 x 68 pixels resolution. It houses a rechargeable lithium battery that gives about 5 days of battery.
This activity tracker automatically recognizes walking, running, swimming, biking etc. through out the day and allows timeline review of activities. It has options like Virtual Pacer, Auto Pause, Auto Lap and Walk/Run mode and allows users to monitor progress and set goals. This fitness band also allows users to receive text, calls, emails, calendar and social media alerts.
The Garmin VivoSmart HR+ is priced at US$ 219.99 and comes in multiple colour options that includes Black / Sharkfin Gray, Imperial Purple / Kona Purple and Midnight Blue / Bolt Blue for regular sizes. It extra large size comes in Black / Shark fin Gray colours.
