General Mobile GM 6 Android One smartphone announced

General Mobile has announced its latest 4G budget phone under its ‘Android One’ line-up called GM 6. It is successor to GM 5 that went official few months back.
The mobile runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. It has fingerprint sensor embedded on the home button, that unlocks phone in 0.2 seconds.
The device has dimensions of 144 x 71.3 x 8.6 mm and weighs 150 grams. It comes in Single / Dual SIM variant.
The General Mobile GM 6 specs include 5-Inch on-cell IPS display with 2.5D curved glass. It has 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and sports Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for added protection.
The processor inside is 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T chipset with Mali-T720 GPU. It is paired with 3GB RAM, 32GB built-in storage space and allows further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card.
General-Mobile-GM-6-image-02The cellphone features in a 8MP front camera with LED Flash, to ensure quality pictures even in low light conditions. On the back side is 13MP main camera with dual LED Flash, Auto Focus and 1080p video recording support.
The GM 6 battery has been bumped to 3000mAh. It also supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The General Mobile GM 6 will be available in Space Grey, Gold and Rose Gold color options. Pricing and availability details were not revealed.
