Gionee has silently introduced a new smartphone in China called Big Magic (M6 Mini). It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Amigo 3.5.
The phone measures 149 x 73.3 x 8.2 mm and weighs 170 grams. It has 5.3-Inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, 277ppi pixel density and supports multi-touch. It has metal build with chamfered edges.
The Gionee Big Magic specs include octa-core (1.5Ghz A53 x 4 + 1GHz A53 x 4) 64-bit MediaTek MT6750 processor with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage ROM, further expandable up to 128GB using MicroSD card.
The smartphone is equipped with 5MP front camera coupled with 13MP main snapper on the back. Primary camera features include PDAF, Timelaps, Digital Zoom, Auto Zoom, Intelligent Scene, Slow-motion, 1080p video and LED Flash.
The Gionee Big Magic (also known as M6 Mini) is equipped with 4000 mAh Li-Po battery that offers up to 38.6 hours talk time and 544.7 hours of standby.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, IR Blaster (helps control electronics like TV, AC etc.) 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The Gionee Big Magic is priced at about $225 (CNY 1499) and is available in Gold color options.
