A new Gionee smartphone dubbed as Gionee GN5006L has made its way at Chinese certification authority TENAA. It seems to be a Lite variant of Gionee M7 however, it is speculated to launch as Gionee Steel 3.
According to TENAA listing, the cell phone packs in 5.5-inch multi-touch display with 1440 x 720 pixels resolution at 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core processor (could be Snapdragon 435 SoC).
It comes in 2GB / 3GB RAM with 16GB / 32GB storage options. It also allows further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card. The handset measures 144.7 x 69.8 x 8.5 mm and weighs 170 grams. It is equipped with 4000 mAh battery.
The Gionee GN5006L features in an 8MP rear CMOS shooter with LED Flash, Auto Focus and 1080p video recording support. Another 8MP camera is placed at the front for quality selfies. The mobile runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box.
The mobile should support 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS and 3.5mm Audio jack.
The Gionee GN5006L (Gionee Steel 3) comes in Black, Gold and Blue colors.
