Gionee seems to be working on a new smartphone. A phone bearing the name GN5007 has made its way at TENAA which has revealed most of its specs. The handset is allegedly said to be M7 Power
The handset runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. It measures 156.3 x 75.6 x 8.6 mm and weighs about 187 grams. It has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor for added security.
The Gionee GN5007 features in a 6-inch multi-touch IPS screen with 1440 x 720 pixels resolution (18:9) aspect ratio. The pictures revealed by Chinese certification authority suggests a bezel-less design (very slim bezels).
It has 1.4GHz octa-core processor. TENAA does not mention the processor make, but we are guessing it could be Snapdragon 400 series. The handset sports 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage ROM and allows further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card.
The GN5007 comes with 8MP front facing camera for selfies. On the back side is 13MP primary shooter with LED Flash, Auto Focus and 1080p video recording capabilities. The hardware gets energy from 5000 mAh battery. The mobile will support 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
The Gionee GN5007 comes in Black color and should go official in coming weeks.
