Gionee M6S Plus with 6GB RAM, 6020mAh battery announced

Gionee has announced a new smartphone in China called Gionee M6S Plus. It has a special encrypted chip that secures personal data, calls and SMS.
It has fingerprint sensor for added security. Phone’s Chinese variant has EAL4+ Security certification for two-level fingerprint encryption.
Coming to the Specifications of Gionee M6s Plus, It has 6-inch on-cell AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass. The screen offers 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and supports multi-touch.
At its core, it has an octa-core (1.95GHz A72 x 4 + 1.44GHz A53 x 4) Snapdragon 653 processor with Adreno 510 GPU. The SoC is backed by 6GB LPDDR3 RAM.
The mobile comes in 64GB and 256GB storage options, both expandable up to 256GB using MicroSD card. It has Dual SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE as well.
The handset measures 163.3 x 80.9 x 8.25 mm and weighs about 215 grams. Major USP of M6S Plus is its battery. It has 6020 mAh battery capacity with Fast Charging support.
On the front side of phone is an 8MP shooter with 1.4µm pixel size and F/2.0 Aperture. On the back side is 12MP rear shooter with 1.4µm pixel size, F/1.9 Aperture, dual pixel focus and dual-tone LED Flash.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.0, GPS, MicroUSB V2.0, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The Gionee M6S Plus price starts at 3499 Yuan (US$ 508 / €468 / Rs. 32,750) for 64GB variant and 4299 Yuan (US$ 625 / €575 / Rs. 40,240) for 256GB storage model. It comes in Ink Black color and is already up for pre-order in China. The handset will go on sale next month.
