Gionee has announced its latest smartphone in its ‘S series’ called the S6 Pro. It has uni-body metal design, made from aluminium-magnesium alloy. It has fingerprint sensor embedded on home button.
The phone comes with built-in Trustonic TEE security solution. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Amigo OS 3.2 and includes a special side shortcut bar which can be accessed by swiping home button.
The Gionee S6 Pro specs include 5.5-Inch IPS 2.5D curved glass display with 1920 x 1080 pixels full HD resolution. It has 1.8GHz Octa Core MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755M processor with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU.
It has 4GB LPDDR3 RAM with 64GB internal storage space, further expandable up to 128GB using microSD card. It has hybrid Dual SIM (Micro + Nano / MicroSD) and supports 4G LTE with VoLTE.
The phone has dimensions of 153 x 75.26 x 7.6 mm and weighs 170 grams. It has 3130 mAh battery that fuels the hardware. It has 8MP front camera and 13MP main snapper on the back with LED Flash and PDAF.
The mobile phone also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, USB Type-C, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The Gionee S6 Pro is priced at 1999 Yuan (US$ 300 / €265) and comes in Silver, Gold and Rose Gold colour options. It is now available from Tmall and company’s official shop in China.
