Gionee S9 with 4G VoLTE, Helio P10, 4GB RAM launched

Chinese phone maker Gionee has just announced its latest mobile phone called S9. It has uni-body metal design and sports a fingerprint sensor embedded at home button.
The phone measures 154.2 x 76.4 x 7.4 mm and weighs about 168.2 grams. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Amigo OS 3.2. It has Hybrid Dual SIM slots (nano + nano / microSD) and supports 4G LTE with VoLTE (voice over LTE).
The Gionee S9 Specs include 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor with Mali-T860 GPU. It has 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and 64GB on-board storage, further expandable up to 128GB using MicroSD card.
The smartphone packs in 5.5-Inch LTPS display with 2.5D Arc Glass. It has 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, 500nits brightness, 85% color saturation and supports multi-touch. The handset is powered by 3000 mAh Li-Ion Polymer battery.
The Gionee S9 Features in dual camera setup on the back, consisting of 13MP and 5MP. It is accompanied by dual-tone LED flash and supports Auto Focus, Digital Zoom and 1080p video recording. On the front side is another 13MP camera for selfies.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc. It also houses Light Sensor, Gravity, Proximity and e-Compass.
The Gionee S9 is priced at 2499 Yuan (US$ 365 / Rs. 24,700) and comes in Gold and Black color options. It will go on sale in China from November 25, 2016. Company did not reveal details on global availability.
