Recently, smartphone manufacturers are inclined towards the trend of dual-camera setup on Smartphones. Now, two new Gionee phones dubbed as S9 and S9T has been certified by TENAA.
Aesthetically both are different phones but in terms of specifications, apart from few details, most of the specs are the same. Both of these mobiles run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Amigo OS 3.2.
Both of them measures 154.2 x 76.4 x 7.4 mm. The S9 weighs about 166.5 grams while the S9T weighs 200.8 grams. They have Hybrid Dual SIM slots (Micro + Nano / MicroSD Card) and houses fingerprint sensor as well for added security.
Both of them sports 5.5-Inch IPS 2.5D curved glass display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and supports multi-touch as well. The Gionee S9 is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core processor while the Gionee S9T features in a 2GHz octa-core SoC.
Other specifications of both the smartphones are more or less the same. They have dual camera setup on the back that consists of 13MP + 5MP and dual-tone LED flash. On the front is side is 13MP front camera for selfies.
The hardware is fueled by 3000 mAh inside this two mobiles. They support 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, GPS, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
The Gionee S9 and S9T will come in Gold, Silver and Black color options. Official announcement is expected soon. On this last note, these will be first smartphone from Gionee to feature dual-camera setup.
