Gionee Steel 2 with 5-Inch HD display, 4000mAh battery launched

Gionee, a well known Chinese phone maker has launched its latest smartphone called Gionee Steel 2. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Amigo 3.5 UI.
The handset measures 144.3 x 70.5 x 8.6 mm and weighs about 160 grams. It has Dual Micro SIM slots and supports 4G LTE with VoLTE.
The Gionee Steel 2 Specs include 5-Inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The screen has 293 ppi pixel density, 16MP color depth and supports multi-touch as well.
Under the hood is a 1.3GHz quad-core 64-Bit MediaTek MT6737 processor with ARM Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. It has 3GB RAM and comes in 16GB / 32GB storage options. MicroSD cards up to 128Gb are also supported.
The Steel 2 Features ain 5MP selfie camera and 8MP main shooter on the back with LED flash, Auto Focus, Touch Focus, Digital Zoom, HDR etc.
The smartphone is powered by 4000 mAh Polymer Lithium-Ion battery. It offers about 45.45 hours of talk time and about 527.04 hours of standby.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The Gionee Steel 2 16GB variant is priced at RMB 1299 which converts to about US$ 190. It is already up for pre-order in China. The mobile comes in Golden Black and Jazz Gold color options.
