GIONEE W919 Android Flip Phone with dual screen certified by TENAA

If you think that Flip Phones are thing of the past than you are wrong. The GIONEE W919 has made its way at TENAA for certification.
The Gionee W919 is a clamshell phone with dimensions of 128 x 62.7 x 16.2 mm and weighs 230 grams. It dual screens, and internal one and an external. Both of them sports a 4.2-inch screen size and resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
According to the Chinese certification authority, the handset is powered by 2.5GHz Octa-core processor which we are guessing it to be Mediatek Helio P25 SoC. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and houses fingerprint sensor at the back.
Unlike most Android Flip phones, it has whooping 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage ROM with option to expand the storage space up to 256GB using MicroSD card.
The Gionee W919 is listed with 5MP front facing camera for selfies. It has 16MP main shooter at the rear with LED Flash, CMOS Sensor, Auto Focus, 4X Zoom and records at least 1080p videos.
The handset is powered by 3000 mAh battery. It comes with Gravity, Distance and Ambient Light sensor. Usual Connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Hotspot, Bluetooth and GPS will be supported as well.
The GIONEE W919 comes in Black color. There is no word on exact release date or pricing just yet. Do expect it soon as the mobile is already certified.
