Gionee X1s 4G VoLTE smartphone with 16MP selfie camera launched

Gionee expands its ‘X Series’ smartphones with Gionee X1s. The handset is successor to  X1 which was introduced last month.
The handset measures 150.4 x 73.5 x 8.8 mm and weighs about 166 grams. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with Amigo 4.0 UI on top. The phone packs in Dual SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE in India.
The Gionee X1s specs include 5.2-inch multi-touch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear side that unlocks phone in 0.3 seconds.
Under the hood is a 1.3GHz quad-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6737T procecssor with Mali-T720 GPU. It has 3GB RAM, 16GB ROM and allows further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card.
Gionee X1s image -2The Gionee X1s Features in a decent 4000 mAh battery that should last you for at least a day. It has 13MP primary camera at he back with LED flash and Auto Focus support. On the front side is a 16MP sensor for quality selfies.
Connectivity wise, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, FM radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The Gionee X1s is priced at Rs. 12,999 (US$ 202 approx.) and comes in Gold and Black colors. It will start retailing in India from September 21. Airtel customers who buy X1s will get 10GB data per month for 6 months with any data recharge of more than 1GB.
