Google Duo video calling Application launched, available on Android and iOS devices

Google has released its DUO video calling application for Android and iOS devices. It offers simple 1-to-1 video calling feature and removes others complexities of video calling.
The Google Duo was showcased at I/O 2016 conference back in May 2016. It has starting rolling out from today and will be available world wide in couple of days.
The application has a simple interface that brings video to the forefront. Its knock knock Live preview feature allows the receiver to see the caller before answering.
The App also claims to provider faster and reliable video calls regardless on Wi-Fi or on-the-go. Moreover, it automatically switches between Wi-Fi and cellular data automatically without dropping calls.
In case where bandwidth is limited, Duo can also reduce the video resolution to keep the call going. Moreover, end-to-end encryption and support for cross platform video calling is also present.
You can download Google Duo for Android and iOS devices from their respective App store. (check the hyper-links).

Amit Fulay, Group Product Manager, Google, commenting on the launch said –

Video calling is the next best thing to being with someone in person. We have designed the interface to be simple, easy and welcoming. In places like India, it has been designed to adapt to the network connectivity conditions. We hope to make the experience of video calling more personal, inviting easy and smooth.
