Google Home voice-activated smart speaker goes on sale in Canada

Google Home, company’s latest voice activated smart speaker is now available in Canada. It is powered by Google Assistant that understands English and French.
The Google Assistant can be accessed simply by saying “Ok Google”. Google Home can play songs, playlists, artists and albums from Google Play Music, Spotify and more.
Playing music is not the only thing Google Home can do. It can translate phrases, do simple math calculations or share definitions.
It can also provide nutritional information simply by voice commands. If you are news fanatic, this voice-activated smart speaker can play latest Canadian stories from CBC, Radio Canda, Global News, Sportsnet, TC Media etc.
Apart from helping in day to day tasks, daily schedule and waking you up in the morning, it can also control your smart home.
Google Home, as the name suggests, can control your lights and switches in house using compatible smart devices. It also works with chromecast and allows you to play Netflix and Youtube on your TV.
The smart speaker is specially designed to deliver crystal clear sounds. It has a stylish design that goes with any room decor. It also allows customization with choice of interchangeable metallic bases (Copper or Carbon).
The Google Home will be available from June 26, 2017 from the Google Store, Bell, Best Buy, Fido, Indigo, London Drugs, Rogers, Staples, The Source, Telus, Visions, and Walmart.
