Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL renders surfaces

We already know that Google is working on Pixel and Pixel XL successors and they will be called Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. The event is scheduled for October 4th and will be streamed live on YouTube as well.
Today, renders of these of these smartphones have surfaced thanks to Evan Blass. These Pixel Smartphones (Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL) are said to be manufactured by HTC and LG respectively, under the code-name Walleye and Taimen.
Both of these handsets run on stock Android 8.0 Oreo OS. They’ll be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU. They are expected with 4GB RAM, 64GB / 128GB storage options and 12MP rear shooters.

The Google Pixel 2 is expected to feature a 4.97-inch OLED display with 1080p resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. The Pixel 2 XL on the other hand allegedly could feature in 5.99-inch OLED screen with Quad HD+ resolution at 18:9 aspect ratio.
According to the rumors, the Pixel 2 could be priced at $649 for 64GB and $749 for 128GB model. The device should come in Kinda Blue, Just Black and Clearly White color options. The Pixel 2 XL priced is believed to start at $849 for 64GB and $949 for 128GB storage version. It is expected in Black & White and Just Black colors.
