Update: Google has launched Pixel 6A in India. It is priced at Rs. 43,999 (MRP) for 6GB/128GB model. It is up for pre-order in India at Flipkart and will go on sale from July 28th.
Google Pixel 6A launch offers in India include Rs. 4000 instant discount with Axis bank cards (EMI options as well), Rs. 6000 off with exchange of any Pixel devices or selected smartphone models and 3-months YouTube Premium and Google One trial. Users can also buy Google Nest Hub Gen2, Pixel Buds A series, Fitbit Inspire 2 for Rs. 4999 (only those who buy Pixel 6A in India).

Google has officially introduced a new Pixel smartphone called Google Pixel 6a.
The smartphone comes in measurements of 152.2 x 71.8 x 8.9 mm and has weight of 178 grams. It comes with 3D thermoformed composite back cover and sports IP67 water and dust resistant rating.
The Google Pixel 6a 5G offers dual SIM connectivity thanks to its Nano SIM slot and eSIM. It has stereo speakers with dual microphones and offers in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics.
The phone packs in a 6.1-inch OLED HDR display that offers 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio. It has up to 60Hz refresh rate, 429ppi pixel density, >1000000:1 contrast ratio, 24-bit color depth and CORNING Gorilla Glass 3 protection at front.
The Pixel 6a comes with octa-core (2.8GHz Cortex-X1 x 2 + 2.25GHz Cortex-A76 x 2 + 1.8GHz Cortex-A55 x 4) Google Tensor processor paired with Mali-G78 MP20 848MHz GPU. It has dedicated Titan M2 security chip for added security.
The smartphone houses 6GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage space. It comes pre-installed with Android 12 OS and includes a 4306mAh (typical) battery. There is support for 18W wired fast charging as well.
The Google Pixel 6A features in an 8MP front fixed focus camera with 84° FOV, F/2.0 Aperture and 1.12um pixel size. At the back side are dual cameras with LED flash. It has 12.2MP dual pixel wide camera with 1/2.55-inch sensor, F/1.7 Aperture, 77° FOV and 7x Super Res Zoom support. There is a second 12MP ultra wide camera with 114° FOV, F/2.2 Aperture, 1.25um pixel size and Lens correction. The Pixel 6A supports Optical + Electronic image stabilization as well.
The smartphone has several sensors like Proximity, Ambient Light, Accelerometer, Gyro-meter, Magnetometer and Barometer. Connectivity options include 5G (SA/NSA) / Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.2 LE, NFC, USB Type-C 3.1, GPS/GLONASS and Type-C audio.
Google Pixel 6a price and availability
The 6A is priced at $449 (Rs. 34,750 approx.) and comes in Chalk, Charcoal and Sage colors. It will go on pre-order in US from July 21st and will start shipping from July 28th.
The smartphone will also land in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, SPAIN< Taiwan and United Kingdom soon. The Pixel 6A will be available in India later this year however, exact dates were not revealed.
