Google PixelBook convertible Chromebook laptop announced, price starts at $999

Most of the users today are looking for convertible laptops. Owing to the demand, Google has introduced PixelBook, its latest convertible laptop. It runs on Chrome OS and supports Google Assistant (accessible via dedicated Assistant Key).
The PixelBook is said to be the thinnest and lightest laptop till date. It has thickness of 10.3mm and weight of about 1.1kg. It has 4-in-1 design that lets you use it as a laptop, in tablet mode, tent mode or simple watch videos by folding the keyboard underneath.
It has 12.3-inch high resolution touch screen with 3:2 aspect ratio that delivers vivid colors. It has a slime backlit keyboard with soft touch keys, while its track pad uses unique touch-processing algorithms for accurate navigation.
The PixelBook laptop can be configured with 7th Generation Intel Core i5 / i7 processors coupled with 8GB / 16BG RAM and up to 512GB SSD storage. It’s battery is said to last about 10 hours and is claimed to offer up to 2 hours usage with just 15 minutes of charging.
Google PixelBook image 2Along with the Chromebook, Google has also introduced PixelBook Pen, which is a smart responsive stylus. It makes use of machine learning for handwriting recognition and sports reduced latency (just 10ms). It has 60-degre of angular awareness and 2000 pressure level sensitivity.
The Google PixelBook price starts $999 in U.S. while the PixelBook Pen costs $99. Both of them will be available in USA, Canada and UK at Google Store and other major retailers, including Best Buy. Pre-orders starts today while the shipping is slated for October 31, 2017.
