Honor 20 Lite (Youth Edition) launches in China with Kirin 710F SoC, up to 8GB RAM

Huawei’s Honor brand has launched a new Honor 20 Series smartphone in China called Honor 20 Lite (also known as Honor 20 Youth Edition).

It is powered by Android 9.0 Pie OS with EMUI 9.1.1 on top. It has Hybrid Dual Nano SIM slots and supports Dual 4G VoLTE. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and houses 4000mAh (typical) / 3900mAh (minimum) battery with 20W fast charging support.

The Honor 20 Lite specs include 6.3-inch AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution. It has 20:9 aspect ratio, 600nits brightness and supports multi-touch.

At its core is an octa-core Kirin 710F processor with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. It has 6GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB storage options and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB ROM. It does allow further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card.

The Honor 20 Lite (Youth Edition) features in 16MP selfie camera with F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side is a triple camera setup of 48MP (F/1.8) + 8MP (Ultra-Wide-Angle, F/2.4) + 2MP (F/2.4) and LED flash.

The smartphone measures 157.2 x 73.2 x 7.7 mm and weighs 171.5 grams. It has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS, USB Type-C and 3.5mm Audio Jack.

The Honor 20 Lite 6GB/64GB price is 1499 yuan (US$ 211 / Rs. 15,030 approx.) while the 6GB/128GB variant costs 1699 yuan (US$ 239 / Rs. 17,020 approx.). The premium Honor 20 Lite 8GB/128GB model price is 1899 yuan (US$ 268 / Rs. 19,025 approx.). The smartphone comes in jade Green, Ice Blue and Midnight Black colors.
