Honor 20S with Kirin 810 SoC is now official

Hiaweis Honor brand has officially unveiled its latest mid range smartphone called Honor 20S. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with Magic UI 2.1.1 on top.

The smartphone houses Dual SIM slots and supports Dual 4G VoLTE. It has dimensions of 154.25 × 73.97 × 7.87 mm and weighs about 172 grams. The device sports gradient finishing at the back and houses a side mounted finger print sensor.

The Honor 20S specs include 6.26-inch All-View display with 2340×1080 pixels pixels FHD+ resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio,, 412 PPI, 96% NTSC color gamut and 91.7%screen to body ratio.

Under the hood is an Octa-Core Kirin 810 processor with ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU. It has 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB storage space, which is non expandable. There is a 3750mAh (typical) / 3650mAh (minimum) battery with 20W fast charging.

The Honor 20S features in triple rear cameras consisting of 48MP (1/2″ Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, AIS) + 8MP (Ultra Wide Angle lens, f/2.4 aperture) + 2MP (macro lens, f/2.4 aperture) and LED flash. For selfie it has 32MP front camera with F/2.0 aperture.

In terms of connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Hotspot, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS and USB Type-C (type-C audio).

The Honor 20S 6GB/128GB price is 1899 yuan (US$ 265 / Rs. 19,130 approx.) While Honor 20S 8GB/128GB price is 2199 yuan (US$ 307 / Rs. 22,150 approx.). It will go on sale in China from today. The smartphone comes in white, black and blue colors.
