Honor 30 with Kirin 985 5G SoC, up to 8GB RAM, 400mAh battery announced

Huawei’s Honor brand has officially announced HONOR 30 smartphone in China. It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock as well.

The handset is 8.1 mm thick, sports straight design with glass back and aluminum alloy frame. It has Huawei Histen sound for enhanced audio. There are dual Nano SIM slots and allows NM card for further storage expansion.

The Honor 30 specs include 6.53-inch OLED display which gives out DCI-P3 color gamut and FHD+ resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio. At its core is an octa-core Kirin 985 5G processor.

The smartphone comes in options of 6GB / 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB built-in ROM. NM Cards up to 256GB are supported. There is a 4000mAh battery which supports 40W super fast charging (0 to 100% in about 1 hour).

At the camera front, it has 32MP selfie fixed focus shooter while the back side is a combination of 40MP (main) + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 8MP (periscope) + 2MP (macro) shooters and LED Flash.

Honor 30 Specifications

The Honor 30 6GB/128GB variant price is 2999 Yuan (US$ 425 / Rs. 32,450 approx.) while its 8GB/128GB variant costs 3199 Yuan (US$ 452 / Rs. 34,600 approx.). The premium 8GB/256GB model carries price-tag of 3499 Yuan (US$ 495 / Rs. 37,845 approx.). The smartphone comes in Midnight Black, Titanium Silver and Neon Purple color option. It will go on sale in China from April 21. Pre-orders start today.
