Honor 30S with Kirin 820 SoC unveiled

Huawei’s Honor brand has just launched and new smartphone in China called Honor 30S. It comes with side-mounted fingerprint sensor, supports face unlock and boots with Magic UI 3.1.1 (without Google services).

The Honor 30s comes with a premium aluminum and glass built. It has a punch hole inside the screen which houses 16MP front facing camera. At the back side is a quad-camera setup of 64MP + 8MP + 8MP + 2MP shooters and LED Flash. These shooters have AI capabilities.

The Honor 30S specs include 6.5-inch multi-touch Full Lamination LCD display with FHD+ resolution. It comes with fingerprint resistant oleophobic coating. The handset also boasts 90.3% screen-to-body ratio.

Notably, the smartphone is powered by octa-core Kirin 820 5G processor and is paired with 8GB RAM. The mobile comes in options of 128GB or 256GB storage space, which is again expandable using NM card. For optimum performance, it has Gaming+ 2.0, GPU Turbo and Link Turbo.

Its 4000mAh battery supports 40W fast charging. There are Hybrid Dual SIM slots with support for dual mode 5G or dual 4G VoLTE.

Honor 30S Specifications

The Honor 30S 128GB variant costs 2399 Yuan (US$ 338 / Rs. 25,420 approx.) while its 256GB storage model price is 2699 Yuan (US$ 380 / Rs. 28,600 approx.). It comes in three different colors and will start selling from April 7th.
