Honor 6A with 5-inch HD Display, Snapdragon 430 announced

Huawei’s Honor brand has just announced its latest smartphone in China called Honor 6A. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with EMUI 5.1 on top.
The mobile measures 143.7 x 70.95 x 8.2 mm and weighs 143 grams. It has uni-body metal design and comes with Hybrid Dual SIM slots (Micro + Nano / MicroSD).
It has 5-Inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, 294ppi pixel density and supports multi-touch. At its core is an octa-core (1.4GHz A53 x 4 + 1.1GHz A53 x 4) Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with Adreno 505 GPU.
Honor 6A silver color image -1The Honor 6A specs also include 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB internal memory. Both the variants allow further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card.
The smartphone features in 13MP BSI CMOS camera sensor at the back with LED Flash, PDAF, Digital Zoom, 5P Lens, 28mm wide angle lens and 1080p video recording capabilities. On the front side is 5MP selfie camera.
There is a fingerprint sensor at the back for added security. Under the hood is a 3020 mAh (typical) Lithium-Ion polymer battery that is said to offer 19 hours of talk time, up to 12 hours of video playback and 363 hours of standby.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS, MicroUSB V2.0 and 3.5mm Audio jack.
The Honor 6A price starts at 799 Yuan (US$ 116 / Rs. 7,500) for 2GB RAM / 16GB storage variant and 999 Yuan (US$ 145 / Rs. 9,380) for 3GB RAM / 32GB storage model. The mobile comes in Silver, Gold, Blue and Pink color options and will be available in China from June 1st, 2017.
