Honor 8 goes official in US, price starts at $399

Huawei has announced its Honor 8 smartphone in the US. It was announced in China back in July.
The phone measures 145.5 x 71 x 7.45 mm, weighs 153 grams and houses fingerprint sensor at the back. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.
The Honor 8 Specs include 5.2-Inch 1080p curved glass display with 96% NTSC color gamut. An octa-core (2.3GHz Cortex A72 x 4 + 1.8GHz Cortex A53 x 4) Kirin 950 sits inside with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU.
It has 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and comes in 32GB / 64GB storage options. The mobile draws power from 3000 mAh battery and supports fast charging as well.

The phone features a 12MP dual camera at the back with dual-tone LED flash, F/2.2 aperture, 1.4µm pixel size, 6P lens and Laser AF. On the front is 8MP selfie snapper with F/2.4 aperture.

Usual connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n*, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band, Bluetooth  V4.2, USB Type-C, NFC, GPS, Infrared and 3.5mm audio jack are supported.
The Honor 8 price starts at US$ 399 for 32GB and US$449.99 for 64GB model. It comes in Sapphire Blue, Midnight Black and Perl White color options. You can pre-order Honor 8 from Amazon, Best Buy, B&H Photo Video, Newegg and HiHonor. Those who pre-order will also receive $50 gift card for third party retailers, while the HiHonor US is offering $50 rebate.
