Honor 8 Lite officially launched in China

Huawei’s Honor brand has officially launched its latest smartphone in China Honor 8 Lite. It already went on pre-order in Finland earlier this month.
It is a mid-range variant of Honor 8 and looks quiet similar as well.  It has a metal frame with 2.5D glass rear surface with 12 layer mirror coating.
It has round fingerprint sensor on the back as well for added security. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box with EMUI 5.0.
Honor 8 Lite launch photo -1The smartphone has dimensions of 147.2 x 72.94 x 7.6 mm and weighs 147 grams. It has 5.2-Inch LTPS display with 2.5D glass and 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.
The Honor 8 Lite Specs includes Kirin 655 processor with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU. It is backed by 3GB / 4GB RAM and 32GB / 64GB storage options as well. It allows further expansion up to 128GB as well.
The Lite variant comes bundled with a single 12MP camera on the back with F/2.2 Aperture, LED Flash, Phased Detection Auto Focus (in 0.3 seconds) and 1080p video recording capabilities. On the front is an 8MP selfie camera equipped with 77-degree wide angle lens.

The mobile houses 3000mAh battery and is non removable. It should provide us at least a days worth of mixed usage.
The Honor 8 Lite price starts at 1099 Yuan ($160) for 3GB RAM / 32GB storage and 1399 Yuan ($200) for 4GB RAM / 32GB model. The 4GB RAM / 64GB storage variant carries price-tag of 1599 Yuan ($230). The handset comes in Midnight Black, Pearl White, Streamer Gold and Sea Blue color options.
