Honor 8 Pro with 6GB RAM, dual rear cameras launched in India

Huawei’s honor brand has officially launched its latest smartphone in India called Honor 8 Pro. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with Emotion UI 5.1 on top.
The phone packs in Hybrid Dual SIM slots (nano + nano / microSD) and supports 4G VoLTE in India. It has dimensions of 157 x 77.5 x 6.97 mm and weighs about 184 grams. It has finger print sensor on the back and also house Infrared sensor.
The Honor 8 Pro specs include 5.7-inch LTPS display with 2.5D curved Glass. The screen offers 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, 515ppi pixel density, 94.5% NTSC color Gamut and supports multi-touch as well.
Honor-8-Pro-launched-in-europe-2The smartphone gets processing power from an octa-core (1.8GHz A53 x 4 + 2.4GHz ARTEMIS x 4) Kirin 960 processor coupled with Mali G71 octa-core GPU.
It has 6GB RAM, 128GB on-board storage space and allows further expansion up to 128GB as well using microSD card. The hardware is powered by 4000 mAh (typical) / 3900 mAh (minimum) battery and also supports fast charging.
The Honor 8 Pro features in 12MP (Monochrome) + 12MP (RGB) dual camera setup at the back. It has F/2.2 Aperture, dual-tone LED Flash and captures 4K videos. On the front side is 8MP selfie shooter with F/2.0 Aperture.
Connectivity wise, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2 LE, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC etc.
The Honor 8 Pro is priced at Rs. 29,999 (US$ 463) and will be available online exclusively at Amazon.in from July 10, 6:00PM for prime users. It comes in Midnight Black and Navy Blue color options. The mobile will be available in open sale from July 13, 2017. There are HDFC cash back offers while Vodafone is offering 45GB free data (for 5 months) to its customers who buy Honor 8 Pro.
