Honor 8 tipped to go official on July 11

Huawei  has finally confirmed that it will launch its Honor 8 smartphone on July 11, 2016. The phone will be unveiled at dedicated event in China. The event will start at 6:30 PM China Time at Shanghai Oriental Sports Center.
The mobile has already been certified by TENAA. It is said to have 5.2-Inch display with 1080p resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels for 128GB variant). It is expected to be powered by Octa Core Kirin 955 (2.5Ghz A72 x 4 + 1.8GHz A53 x 4) or Kirin 950 (2.3GHz A72 x 2 + 1.8GHx A53 x 4) processor with Mali T880 MP4 GPU.
The Honor 8 smartphone should have 4GB RAM with 32GB / 64GB / 128GB storage options. Huawei Honor brand has also teased Dual camera setup on the back with dual-tone LED Flash, expected to be of 12 Mega Pixels. It will also have 8MP front camera.
The mobile will have fingerprint sensor at the back and 2900 mAh battery inside. According to TENAA listing, the phone has dimensions of 145.5 x 71.0 x 7.45 mm and weighs 153 grams.  The phone will support 4G LTE via Hybrid Dual SIM slots, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz)
The Honor 8 is rumored to sell for 1999 Yuan (US$ 304) for base model.  The 128GB Honor 8 with 2K display will sell for 2799 Yuan (US$ 425).  Official details will be revealed at the time of launch.
