HONOR has unveiled a new flagship grade smartphone in China called HONOR 80 GT. It is offered in White, Meteor Blue and Interstellar Black colors.
HONOR 80 GT specs and features
This newest member in HONOR 80 series comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. It has dedicated dual Nano SIM slots and allows 5G SA/NSA and dual 4G VoLTE.
The HONOR 80 GT specs include a 6.67-inch curved OLED 10-bit display that offers 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 colors. It has support for HDR10, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and up to 1400nits peak brightness.
HONOR has included an independent display chip to boost game frame by up to 100% while reducing the power consumption by 25%.
Powering inside is an octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform with Adreno 730 GPU. The smartphone is offered in 12GB/16GB LPDDR5 RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage options.
The HONOR 80GT comes with 0.35mm 4386mm² bionic VC, ultra-dense copper mesh woven with 1415 copper wires, 74mm bionic fiber, super-conducting hexagonal crystal graphene and AI intelligent thermal management system.
In terms of cameras, the mobile houses a 16MP front camera with F/2.4 Aperture. At the back side is a combo of 54MP (main, Sony IMX800 sensor, F/1.9 Aperture) + 8MP (ultra-wide, F/2.2 Aperture) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4 Aperture) lenses and a huge LED Flash.
The HONOR 80 GT 5G has dimensions of 162.5 x 75.3 x 7.9 mm and weighs 187 grams. It has a 4800mAh battery and supports 66W SuperCharge fast charging. The cell phone runs on Android 12 based Magic UI 7.0.
For connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 6 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo.

- 16GB/256GB model: 3599 yuan (US$ 517 / Rs. 42,770 approx.)
The HONOR 80 GT 5G is up for order in China and will go on sale starting January 1st, 2023.
