Honor 8S with Helio A22 launched

Huawei’s Honor brand has silently introduced Honor 8S smartphone in Russia. It is powered by Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9.0 on top.
The device comes with Dual Nano SIM slots and supports Dual 4G VoLTE. It has 5.71-inch 2.5D Glass display with 1520 x 720 pixels resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, 294ppi pixel density and multi-touch support. The smartphone also boasts 84.6% screen-to-body ratio.
The phone has dimensions of 147.13 x 70.78 x 8.45 mm and weighs 146 grams. It has 3020 mAh battery inside and comes with Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor and accelerometer.
Honor 8s photo 001The Honor 8S specs include 2GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 (MT6765) processor with IMG PoverVR Ge-Class GPU. Inside is 2GB RAM, 32GB ROM and MicroSD card support (dedicated slot) for further expansion up to 512GB.
In terms of photography, there is 5MP front camera and 13MP single rear camera with F/1.8 Aperture and LED flash. The cellphone also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/GLONASS, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack. It has dual Microphones for noise cancellation.
The Honor 8S price is 8490 Rubles (US$ 130 / Rs. 9200 approx.) and comes in Black, Gold and Blue colors. It is already on sale in Russia.
