Honor 8X launches in India with Kirin 710 SoC

Huawei’s Honor brand has just launched Honor 8X smartphone in India. It was introduced in China last month.
In terms of specifications, it has 6.5-inch multi-touch 2.5D curved glass display with astonishing 91% screen-to-body ratio. The screen offers 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution at 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 85% NTSC color gamut.
The mobile has dimensions of 160.4 x 76.6  x 7.8 mm and weighs 175 grams. it has rear facing fingerprint sensor and comes with dedicated dual Nano SIM slots and MicroSD card slot. The handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2 on top.
The Honor 8X specs include octa-core (2.2GHz A73 x 4 + 1.7GHz A53 x 4) Kirin 710 SoC with ARM Mali-G51 GPU. It has 4GB RAM with 64GB Storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB storage options. The storage is further expandable up to 400GB using MicroSD card.
Honor-8X-Launched-in-india-1In terms of optics, a 16MP (F/2.0) camera is placed at the front for selfies. At the back side is 20MP (F/1.8) and 2MP dual rear camera setup with LED flash. The hardware is powered by 3750 mAh (typical) / 3650 mAh (minimum) battery.
Connectivity wise, it supports dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-FI 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS etc.
The Honor 8X 4GB/64GB model costs Rs. 14,999 while the 6GB/64GB variant price goes at Rs. 16,999. The high end Honor 8X with 6GB RAM 128GB storage has price-tag of Rs. 18,999. The handset comes in Black and Blue colors and will go on sale at Amazon.in from October 24th.
