Huawei’s Honor brand has announced Honor 8X mid-range smartphone in China. It was introduced along with its larger cousin, the Honor 8X Max.
The smartphone measures 160.4 x 76.6 x 7.8 mm and has weight of 175 grams. It has dedicated dual Nano SIM slots and MicroSD card slot and supports 4G VoLTE as well. A fingerprint sensor is placed at the back for fast unlocking.
The Honor 8X runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2 on top. It offers 4D Gaming experience by offering real-time game scene recognition. The phone vibrates according to 30 different sense for realistic experience.
The cell phone features in 6.5-inch multi-touch 2.5D curved glass display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is an octa-core (2.2GHz A73 x 4 + 1.7GHz A53 x 4) Kirin 710 SoC with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU.
The Honor 8X Specifications also include 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB storage options. All 8X variants allow further storage expansion up to 400GB using microSD card.
The smartphone packs in 20MP (F/1.8) + 2MP dual rear cameras with LED Flash and also supports 480fps slow-mo recording. For selfies, Honor has included 16MP front camera with F/2.0 APerture.
There is a 3750 mAh (Typical) / 3650 mAh (minimum) battery with fast charging capabilities. Usual connectivity options like dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS are supported.
