Huawei’s Honor brand has launched Honor 9i (RNE-L22) in India. It is the same smartphone which was introduced as Maimang 6 in China and Nova 2i in Malaysia.
The phone features a uni-body metal design with measurements of 156.2 x 75.2 x 7.5 mm and has weight of 164 Grams. It has fingerprint sensor at the back and houses Hybrid Dual SIM Slots (nano + nano / microSD).
The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with EMUI 5.1. It is powered by 3340 mAh (typical) / 3240 mAh (minimum) battery. The device sports a 5.9-inch IPS screen with 2160 x 1080 pixels Full HD+ resolution (18:9 aspect ratio), 407ppi pixel density and 2.5D curved glass on top.
At its heart sits an octa-core (2.36GHz A53 x 4 + 1.7GHz A53 x 4) Kirin 659 processor with Mali-T820 MP2 GPU. It is backed by 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage (48GB user available) and allows further expansion up to 256GB as well.
On the front side of this cell phone is 13MP + 2MP dual selfie camera, coupled with soft light LED flash. It has fixed focal length and can record 1080p videos as well.
The Honor 9i price is set at Rs. 17,999 (US$ 276 approx.) and comes in Graphite Black, Prestige Gold and Aurora Blue colors. It will be available online exclusively at Flipkart from October 14, 2017.
