Honor 9N with 4G VoLTE, 5.84-inch FHD+ display, Kirin 659 SoC launched

Huawei’s Honor brand has officially announced Honor 9N smartphone in India. The handset is just a rebranding of Honor 9i 2018 which was introduced last month.
The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 on top and includes special Ride Mode and Party mode. It has fingerprint sensor (can also be used to take Photos or answer calls) at the back and supports face unlock as well. The handset measures 149.2 x 71.8 x 7.7 mm and has weight of 152 grams. It has Hybrid dual SIM slots, both Nano slots with one doubling up for MicroSD card.
The Honor 9N specs include 5.84-inch 2.5D curved glass display with 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio and multi-touch support.  An octa-core (2.36GHz A53 x 4 + 1.7GHz A53 x 4) Kirin 659 processor powers the hardware along with Mali-T832 MP2 GPU for graphics. It will also get access to GPU Turbo via OTA update.
The cell phone packs in 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM and  4GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB storage options. It also allows further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card but to do so, you’ll have to sacrifice a SIM slot. A 3000 mAh (typical) / 2900 mAh (minimum) battery powers the hardware.
The Honor 9N features in 16MP front facing camera with 4-in-1 light fusion technology, 3D face contuouring for selfies. At the back side is 13MP and 2MP dual rear cameras with LED Flash. The rear shooters takes stunning bokeh, focus control and shifting. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotsopt, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/GLONASS, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack
The Honor 9N price in India is set at Rs. 11,999 for 3GB/32GB model. The 9N 4GB RAM / 64GB ROM variant costs Rs. 13,999 while the 4GB RAM / 128GB storage variant carries price tag of Rs. 17,999. It comes in Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue, Robin Egg Blue and Lavender Purple colors.
The mobile phone will be available exclusively at Flipkart. Some of the launch offers include Rs. 2200 cash back (vouchers), 100GB additional data for Jio Users. You can also avail Rs. 1200 worth vouchers from Myntra.
