Honor Band 4 and Honor Band 4 Running Edition announced

Huawei’s Honor band unveiled its Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max mid-rangers. Along with it, company also unveiled its latest smartbands called Honor Band 4. There is a special Honor Band 4 Running Edition as well.
The Honor Band 4 has dimensions of 43 x 17.2 x 11.5 mm and has weight of 23 grams. It has 0.95-inch AMOLED touch display and comes with home button. The smartband features in 6-axis sensors and infrared wearing detection sensor.
It is compatible with most smart devices running on Android 4.4 (or later) or iOS 9.0 (or later). It uses Bluetooth V4.2 LE to connect. Additionally, the smartband is water resistant (5ATM rated) up to 50 meters as well.

The Honor Band 4 has Huawei TruSleep 2.0, which uses cardiopulmonary coupled dynamics spectrum (CPC) to monitor compete sleep structure like deep sleep (REM). The Huawei TruSeen 2.0 offers 24 hours continuous heart rate tracking (even during workout activities).
When connected with smartphones, it also shows call notifications, message notifications and allows one to mute incoming calls as well. It has 100 mAh battery inside which offers about 14 days of usage or 20 days of standby.
The Honor Band 4 Running Edition on the other hand packs in POLED black and white screen. It comes with a smaller 77 mAh battery which offers about 20 days of standby. It is also water resistant up to 50 meters and comes with 6-axis sensor which offers improved running detection (measures cadence, step length, ground contact, foot strike pattern, land impact, eversion, excursion and swing). There is no hear rate sensor though.
The Honor Band 4 price is set at 199 Yuan (US$ 29 / Rs. 2090 approx.) and comes in Black, Blue and Pink colors. The Honor Band 4 Running Edition price goes at 99 Yuan (US$ 15 / Rs. 1040 approx.) and comes in Blue, Yellow, Red, Green and Pink colors. Both smart bands will go on sale in China from September 20th.
