Honor has officially launched its Band 5 in India. It was introduced last month in China.
It measures 43 x 17.2 x 11.5 mm and weighs 22.7 grams. It has 5ATM rating for water and dust resistance. It includes 6-axis accelerometer, infrared wearing detection sensor and gyroscope.
The Honor Band 5 features in 0.95-inch AMOLED touch display (color) with 240 x 120 pixels resolution. It has dedicated home button and comes with customizable watch faces.
The Band 5 packs in TruSeen 3.0 Heart rate tracking. It also comes with automatic activity tracking which can detect 10 fitness activities like running, cycling, swimming (with swim stroke recognition) etc.
It has Pedometer, Sleep tracker and gives sedentary remainders as well. The Honor Band 5 uses Bluetooth V4.2 LE to connect with smartphones. It is compatible with most devices running on Android 4.4+ or iOS 9.0+.
Once connected, it shows calls and message notifications. Users can also mute calls from band itself. There is a 100mAh battery which offers about 14 days of usage or 20 days of standby.
The Honor Band 5 price is Rs. 2599 and comes in Midnight Blue, Coral Pink and Meteorite Black colors. It is available online Flipkart.
