Huawei has just announced its latest smartphone in China called Magic. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Honor Magic Live OS.
The phone has dimensions of 146.1 x 69.9 x 7.8 mm and weighs 145 grams. It has WiseScreen Magic intelligent sensor that automatically activates the screen when you pick up the phone. The screen automatically goes off in one second after you place it in pocket.
The smartphone features FaceCode Intelligent Recognition as well. It will disclose notifications only to pre-registered faces. Users can also activate DeepThink by pressing and holding home button. It offers multi-facets information in relation to current webpage you are visiting.
Under the hood is an octa-core (2.3GHz A72 x 4 + 1.8GHz A53 x 4) Kirin 950 processor (16nm) coupled with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. It is backed by 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage memory.
The cellphone also houses a fingerprint sensor on home button. Additionally, home button also allow brings multiple functionalities like navigation, browse history, return to home screen etc.
The hardware is fueled by 2900 mAh battery. It supports Huawei Magic Power fast charging as well. It is said to charge up to 70% in 20 minutes and 90% in 30 minutes. Inside is dual SIM slots with a unique SIM tray (slots on both the sides).
The Honor Magic is priced at 3699 Yuan (US$ 532) and comes in Porcelain White and Golden Black color options. It will go on sale in China from December 16, 2016.
