Along with HONOR 80 GT, company has also introduced its latest HONOR Pad V8 Pro tablet in China. It is offered in Starry Blue, Sunny Blue and Orange colors.
The tablet brings support for Magic Pencil 3 which and 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and 2ms response time. The Magic Pencil 3 magnetically attaches on top of tablet and charges itself, offering total of 10 hours of battery backup.
The Pad V8 Pro supports Smart Touch Keyboard dock as well. It has 15.9mm larger keys with 1.6mm deep travel.
HONOR Pad V8 Pro specs and features
The tablet scales up to a 277 x 178.95 x 6.64 mm and weighs in at 589 grams. It s powered by Android 12 based MagicOS 7.0 out of the box.
The HONOR Pad V8 Pro feature a 12.1-inch LCD display that boasts 2560 x 1600 pixels WQXGA resolution. It has 144Hz high refresh rate, 10-bit color depth and 600nits (peak) brightness. The screen has also received IMAX Enhanced certification.
Under the hood is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor with ARM Mali-G610 MC6 GPU. It is given in 8GB/12GB RAM options and has 128GB/256GB storage variants. Notably, there is no microSD card support.
The HONOR Pad V8 Pro specs include 5MP front camera with F/2.2 Aperture and 1080p video recording support. At the back side is a single 13MP shooter with F/2.0 Aperture and allows 4K video recording.
The tablet boasts 8-speaker setup delivering Hi-Res Audio. There is DTS:X as well. Powering the hardware is a 10,050mAh battery that supports 35W fast charging speeds.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.2 and USB Type-C.
