Honor Play4 Pro 5G (OXP-AN00) specs out by TENAA ahead of launch

Huawei’s Honor brand has an event scheduled in China for the launch of Honor Play4 and Honor Play4 Pro 5G smartphone. Ahead of the announcement, specifications of Honor Play4 Pro 5G have surfaced thanks to its TENAA certification.

TENAA has certified smartphone with model number OXP-AN00. According to the listing, it measures 162.7 x 75.8 x 8.9 mm and weighs about 213 grams.

It will have Dual SIM slots with 5G (SA/NSA) and Dual 4G VoLTE support. It runs on Android 10 OS (with MagicUI 3.1) and comes with side mounted fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking.

The Honor Play4 Pro 5G (OXP-AN00) sports a 6.57-inch multi-touch IPS display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and multi-touch support.

The screen has punch hole which houses dual front cameras of 32MP and 8MP. At the back is a triple camera setup which includes 48MP + 8MP + AI camera (unknown sensor). The combination can record 4K videos easily.

The Honor Play4 Pro 5G (OXP-AN00) is powered by 2.86GHz octa-core processor with is Kirin 990 5G SoC. The mobile comes in options of 6GB / 8GB RAM with 128GB / 256GB storage space. The ROM is non expandable though.

There is a 4100mAh battery with fast charging support. Connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and USB Type-C will be present.

The Honor Play4 Pro 5G Launch is set for later today. It comes in Magic Night Black and Mecha Blue colors.
