Honor has officially introduced a new Honor Play series smartphone in China called HONOR Play5 Vitality Edition (NEW-AN90) (Also known as Honor Play5 Youth Edition). It comes in Midnight Black and Aurora Blue colors.

This particular mobile phone has measurements of 161.8 x 74.7 x 8.5 mm and weighs about 192 grams. It offers dual SIM connectivity with its Nano Slots and supports both 5G SA / NSA and dual 4G VoLTE.
The Honor Play5 Youth comes with fingerprint sensor at side for biometrics. The mobile runs on Android 11 based Magic UI 4.1. It has 4300mAh (typical) / 4200mAh (minimum) battery capacity and supports 66W SuperCharge fast charging. The handset is said to charge up to 50% in 15 minutes and 100% in about 40 minutes. A fully charged battery is claimed to offer up to 30 hours of 4G talk time.
The Honor Play5 Vitality Edition specs include 6.67-inch LCD display offering 2376 x 1080 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and delivers DCI-P3 colors. It has 1.05mm slim bezels and boasts an astonishing 94.4% screen-to-body ratio.
Powering inside is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor with Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. It has 8GB RAM and allows additional 2GB virtual RAM (8GB + 2GB). It has 128Gb / 256GB storage options however, there is no expansion support. The device comes with GPU Turbo and Link Turbo X for enhancing performance.
The Honor Play 5 Vitality Edition feature a 16MP front facing camera with F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side are triple cameras with LED Flash. These include 64MP main with F/1.9 Aperture, 8MP ultra-wide lens with F/2.4 Aperture and 2MP sensor with F/2.4 Aperture.
In terms of connectivity, the cell phone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm audio jack.
