Honor V20 with Kirin 980, 8GB RAM, 4000mAh battery announced

Huawei’s Honor brand has officially introduced its new flagship smartphone called Honor V20 in China. The handset will launch globally as Honor View 20 on January 22 at an event in Paris.
The mobile has dimensions of 156.9 x 75.4 x 8.1 mm and has weight of 180 grams. It has metal frame and glass back (with Fingerprint sensor) which has V-like texture design. It has dual SIM slots and supports dual 4G VoLTE. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Magic UI 2.0 on top.
The Honor V20 specs include 6.4-inch IPS LCD display with 2310 x 1080 pixels resolution, 96% NTSC color Gamut and multi-touch support. The device also boasts an impressive 91.82% screen-to-body ratio.
Honor V20 or View 20 photo 3The smartphone also comes with 4.5mm cut inside the display which houses 25MP selfie shooter with F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side is 48MP (Sony IMX586 sensor, F/1.8, 4-in-1 light fusion, AIS) + TOF 3D cameras at the back. It s TOF 3D secondary camera also lets users play games using 3D Gesture recognition by detecting body movements.
Under the hood is octa-core (2.6GHz A76 x 2 + 1.92GHz A76 x 2 + 1.8GHz A55 x 4) Kirin 980 mobile platform with ARM Mali-G76 MP10 (720MHz) GPU. It has 6GB / 8GB RAM (LPDDR4X) with 128GB Storage space. There is a 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model as well.
The Honor V20 features in 4000 mAh (typical) / 3900 mAh (minimum) battery with 22.5W (4.5V/5A) fast charging support. The phone also comes with unique Link Turbo which automatically analyze users usage and network conditions to switch between Wi-Fi and 4G networks and boost downloading speeds.
Connectivity wise, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0 LE, GPS (L1 + L5), USB Type-C, NFC and 3.5mm Audio Jack.

Honor V20 Price

The Honor V20 comes in Red, Blue and Black colors. It is already up for order will go on sale in China from December 28th. Globally, it will launch as Honor View 20 with its launch date slated form January 22.
