Huawei’s Honor brand has announced that it will introduce Honor V9 smartphone on February 21st, 2017. It will be unveiled at a dedicated event held in Beijing.
The Honor V9 will be successor to V8. It is expected with 5.7-inch 2.5D curved glass display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. It comes with an octa-core Huawei Kirin 960 processor, coupled with Mali G71 octa-core GPU.
The handset will have 4GB RAM / 6GB RAM variants coupled with 64GB / 128GB storage options. Both will allow further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card.
The smartphone will have Dual SIM slots and run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with EMUI 5.0. In terms of measurements, it is 157 x 77.5 x 6.97 mm and weighs about 184 Grams.
The Honor V9 will have an 8MP front facing camera for selfies and 12MP dual rear cameras on the back with dual-tone LED Flash, Laser AF and 4K video recording support.
Usual connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC, GPS etc will be supported as well.
The Honor V9 is expected to be priced at 2299 Yuan (US$ 335 / INR 22,430). It should have Gold, Rose Gold and Silver color options.
